ABOUT US
We are A senior living referral organization that works with seniors and their friends and family, finding them lodging and care during transitional periods in their life. This can incorporate being released from a hospital or having a fall at home. Other issues that require a possible move can be periods of forgetfulness, wandering or turning out to be too careless which requires family members to step in to help. We also can refer seniors who might just want new surroundings where they can feel free to be social while getting the extra daily help they need.
What sets us apart.
We understand there are referral agencies out there that will provide a list of facilities without ever visiting the facility and possibly don't even live in the same state. We believe that having a first hand visual of the facility and knowing their phylosophy of care helps us to pair the senior with the correct facility. We actually visit the facilities and speak with the management, staff and talk to the residents. We follow-up with the families and the facilities to make sure the adjustment process is going smooth. We really care about seniors and want to make this process easy and less stressful. Change can be difficult but having choices gives you peace and freedom to find the right place. Researching facilities takes hours and is very tedious, and many people don't have the time to do the research. We are dedicating our time and effort to do the work for you and do so with the question in mind, "Would we want our family member here?". We understand, you want to find the best place for your loved one, at the best price, with the best care.
A little bit about me: I graduated from CalPoly Pomona, with a BS in Computers and Masters in Multimedia Education. Personally, I have an incredible amount of compassion and have walked the process of care giving with my mother and my aunt. My mother passed away from ALS and I was one of her main Caregivers and her POA. This was heart wrenching and had an extremely huge learning curve. I walked through first hand about the needs of the elderly and comfort measures at the end of life. I also watched as my step mother took care of my father as he lost more and more of his cognitive ability. He ended up in those last precious days passing away from a stroke and vascular dementia at a "board and care" facility.
My aunt at 100 is still alive and I am also her POA. I helped her with her daily needs until it was impossible to manage it at my home through the day and night. This was a huge undertaking but it helped her in many ways through the aging process and the beginning signs of cognitive decline. I eventually had to place her in a "board & care" facility when my own caring for her and hiring the caregivers became too expensive. My heart goes out to the families that our dealing with these aging life stages and I know with my experience, I can help you with many aspects of this process.
I have been walking this out and caring for the elderly for many years and it isn't easy, but having loving guides and support through the process has been a huge blessing. At a "Perfect Place for Seniors" we hope to be that loving guide and support to you during this time. Please feel free to call me and we can chat a bit about your experiences and what I have found that can help make this time less stressful.
